ACECL Fall Conference: Where Policy Meets Pragmatic
This year’s Fall Conference is taking a fresh, interactive approach to connecting policy and practice where agency priorities meet the realities of project delivery. Instead of the traditional format where each agency presents individually, this year’s program will bring together leaders from agencies with similar missions or project types to deliver concise updates on their current programs, priorities, and upcoming initiatives.
Following each set of brief presentations, the speakers will join forces for an engaging panel discussion. These panels will invite audience questions, creating a candid and solutions-focused dialogue between public agency leadership and the consultant community.
The conference will feature four primary outlook sessions: Transportation, Federal, Facilities, and Water Resources designed to provide attendees with timely insight into the projects, funding opportunities, and policy shifts shaping Louisiana’s infrastructure future. This new format promises a more efficient and engaging way to explore where policy and planning meet pragmatic progress.
In the weeks leading up to the conference on November 20, event registrants will receive a call for questions to submit in advance for the session moderators to ask the panelists. This process ensures the conversation reflects the real priorities and challenges of our members and partners. Don’t miss your chance to help shape this important dialogue — register today and be part of where policy meets pragmatic solutions.
ACEC Louisiana Salary Study
ACECL is conducting another salary study this year, which is two years since our last. The surveys will cover topics specific to the salaries and benefits of engineering and associated positions in Louisiana. Again, this salary survey is different than most others in that it includes data and information from Louisiana firms only.
All information collected will remain confidential and will reside with the independent consulting firm handling data collection. The final survey report will be available this fall. All those completing the survey will receive the final report free of charge. Those not participating will be able to purchase the final report for a fee.
The value of the survey increases with the more participants we have and the more data we receive. I highly encourage your firm to participate by clicking on the link below. Completed surveys must be received by next Friday, November 7, 2025.
